I used quick set cement but let it harden for three days anyway, mainly because I had to go to work. It is so easy to raise and lower. I have had it for a month now and maybe I'm crazy, but I have 4 Trump flags and I fly a different flag each week under the Stars and Stripes. Several of my neighbors have flagpoles, some homemade, some from other mfg. None of them compare to yours.
