🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 5 star review from Nicholas De Rosa: Much better flagpole This is our second flagpole in about eight months. The first one was the “button type” where there are steel buttons that have to line up with holes to hold the telescoping sections in place. While I was taking the pole down in a bad rainstorm one section slipped through my wet hands and went all the way down thereby breaking the mechanism that holds the protruding “buttons” in place making it impossible to extend the pole. There is no doubt in my mind that if I took it apart and bought the parts to repair it, it would only happen again due to the weight of the pole and the poor design which includes no buffer to guard against this happening. The Atlantic flagpole is a much better system, it has a buffer and more importantly it doesn’t have buttons as a locking mechanism.
